The Turn’s White Elephant Griswold Christmas Party AND Nerf Gun Battle

Turn Christmas Party TONIGHT, 8:30pm

Get your studying done early so that you can party with The Turn tonight (and blast people with nerf guns). Here’s what you need to know…

Come dressed up in the style of the Giswold Christmas from National Lampoons Holiday classic, Christmas Vacation
Bring one wrapped white elephant gift per person to exchange
- A white elephant gift is any item that you do NOT purchase, and that you currently own/possess that you could give to someone else
- It is often humorous in nature
- “Wrapping” can be creative and resourceful
- Ideas include, old CDs, dryer lint, expired coupons, tacky hat, used notebook, etc.
- If, due to finals, you are in the mood to study and learn, (Get Info Here )
As usual, there will be a fabulous prize for the best-dressed!

After we party together, we are going to shoot one another with nerf guns!

Please bring your own nerf gun(s) and nerf bullets (NO other guns are welcome on the premises)
We will turn the lights out, so you may want to bring your own luminary device
You will get shot, so you may want to bring your own protective eye gear
Leave your small children at home, as “a battle” is not an appropriate environment for kids
All Men AND Women are welcome to play. In particular, we will berate, taunt, jokingly mock, jeer, sneer, scorn, tease and gnash our teeth at ANY who do not participate in the nerf gun battle (and this will most certainly include women)
- As a special note, our military now includes women. Therefore all historical precedent for NOT fighting as a woman has been removed. You wanted “equal rights”, so come get your equal rights. We’ll be serving them up on a platter for you tonight…in battle!
