• Nertz tables will be setup for all card sharks (bring a deck of cards)

* we chose “gala” because frankly there’s not much competition, enabling us to make such bold claims about ours being the matriarch.

Grab dinner and help support The Turn’s summer mission trip to Xalapa, Mexico! Stop by Tropical Smoothie tomorrow, Thursday, April 23, between 5–9pm for dinner, a smoothie, or even a family reunion and 20% of your purchase will go towards The Turn. We’ll use that money to help send up to eight of our college adults to Xalapa, Mexico for a week of missions this June.

§For those not in the Honors Program at ASU, nor graduates of the prestigeous Baylor University (aka “Harvard on the Brazos”), what we’re saying is…show up for The Turn gathring tonight at 8:30pm and we’ll give you a chance to pretend you have a big brain. It will be the perfect opportunity to fool us all. This is a once-in-a-lifetime moment–a gift to you from us–where you can go from taciturn…I mean “dumb”…to genius in the eyes of your fellow students with NO STUDYING REQUIRED.  That’s right, no books, nothing to learn, no need to prepare, no study hall! Just show up, we’ll take care of the rest.

Oh, and of course there will be fabulous prizes involved!

Designed for college adults who find themselves indeed at the end of the semester, while at the same time on the brink of summer, while at the same time desiring free food and drink mixed with a dash of frivolity, while at the same time desiring to ply their skills (or enviously watch as others ply) in the International phenomena known as World Cup Soccer, this is by far the mother of all gala’s*.

We’ll be hosting an informational meeting for all college adults interested in Live.Love.Learn. ‘09—our summer Emerging Leader’s training for college adults. We’ll discuss the schedule, Xalapa mission trip, cost, details and much more. If your are interested, this is a MANDATORY meeting (although attending the meeting does NOT obligate you to participate).
